IA OBERTS has actively worked on the woodworking machinery market since 1994 when it became a representative in the Baltic states for the American company WOOD-MIZER. The successful start of trade with band-saw machines for log longitudinal sawing became a precondition for fast growth. In 2001 the company opened in Marupe, suburban of Riga, a modern complex including factory for band-saw production and warehouse, modern office, shop, and timber drykiln unit. The new production, trade and service complex has emerged on Marupe plain and started into third millennium.
